The first show will be on February, 21st at the Club Zentral in Stuttgart. Other bands are Crystal Crow and Fusion of Souls.

We are also confirmed for the Metal Dayz Festival 2009 at the legendary Z7 club in Pratteln. Other bands will be Kreator, Satyricon, Sodom and many more.

We are finally done with the production of our debut and the result is fantastic. The sound is crushing, yet majestic.

We are now making a video teaser which we will post within the next week, so stay tuned.

Additionally we will sell new T-Shirts in the near future.

We'd like to announce a copule of new live gigs.

The first one will be on the 26th of september in Bühl, the second one is one day later on the 27th of september in Calw-Hirsau.

The orchestration process is almost completed. We are now waiting to mix the album, but due to a busy schedule it may be possible that we have to wait until late september.

For all of you who don t want to wait for something new, there is a new compilation out called "Rise of the Griffin Vol.1".

We are featured there with an unreleased track called "A dream within a dream".

Besides us, the compilation features a lot of other very good bands from the Baden area. It s worth checking out, since it is very diverse and high quality.

Sadly we have to cancel the gig in the Fiasko Oehringen on May 17th. due to the fact that our singer Alice will be in Hongkong during that time.

We hope to get another chance to play there again.

The album is coming along great. We have recorded all drums, bass and guitars, as well as the lead guitar parts. Our singer Malte did an awesome job, delivering vocals with the intensity to bring across the message of our lyrics.

What s missing are the female vocal lines and the orchestration which we will probabely finish around the next two weeks.
Even though the songs are not mixed or processed in any way, the raw sound is already incredible. We can t wait for the final result.

Ok, here are the latest news.

On Monday the 10th of march we will enter the Iguana Studios once again to finally record our debut album. There is no title yet and we will see how and when to release it.

Musically you can expect a dark and symphonic piece of sophisticated metal, leaving genre boundaries behind and taking the musical path Katharsis has chosen a step further.
